Commercial planning
Preparing a commercial space for floor care
The short answer
A useful walkthrough starts with the surfaces, condition and how the building is used. Share occupied areas, access restrictions, operating hours, furniture or equipment and your timing goals. Scope, availability and return-to-use guidance are agreed for the selected treatment.
Restoration and recurring maintenance
Restoration addresses an existing condition such as buildup, worn finish or uneven grout. Recurring maintenance aims to manage ongoing soil and traffic. The right method and frequency depend on the surface and property; a schedule is discussed rather than assumed.
Access and occupied areas
Identify entrances, elevators, water access, equipment restrictions and routes that occupants need. Discuss furniture or equipment responsibilities, which areas can be closed and how to communicate the agreed work plan. Do not assume after-hours availability or a particular drying time.
Information for a walkthrough
Provide the community or ZIP, floor materials if known, approximate areas and optional photographs. Note previous cleaning products, coatings, problem areas and move-in or operational dates. A request starts a discussion; it does not book an appointment.
