Request An AssessmentWhat This Service Can Address
A wood-look floor can be vinyl or laminate, with very different care requirements from hardwood. Embedded dirt, cloudy cleaning residue and uneven sheen do not always mean the wear layer is worn out. We evaluate the cause before choosing cleaning or protection.
Choosing The Right Treatment
Tell us the manufacturer or flooring product if you know it. We check existing finish, past polish applications and care guidance before recommending a coating. Cleaning and protection do not repair deep gouges, water-damaged boards or broken planks, and some flooring is unsuitable for an added finish.
Surface Care Options
Luxury Vinyl Plank Cleaning
LVP cleaning addresses embedded dirt and residue on qualifying vinyl planks. Luxury vinyl plank cleaning should follow the needs of the wear layer, not a hardwood sanding process.
LVT Cleaning And Vinyl Floor Cleaning
Luxury vinyl tile has the same need for material identification as other vinyl floors. LVT cleaning and vinyl floor cleaning are planned around the finish and the products previously used.
LVP Protective Coatings
LVP protective coatings are considered after cleaning and compatibility review. Laminate floor cleaning also requires its own assessment; a suitable treatment for vinyl may not suit laminate.
Real Optimal Work

How We Plan Your Project
- Identify LVP, LVT, vinyl or laminate and review product guidance.
- Assess soil, buildup and wear-layer condition.
- Clean and prepare the surface using a compatible method.
- Discuss a protective coating only where the flooring and finish allow it.
Service pricing is confirmed after reviewing the area, preparation and surface condition. In-home consultations are $50. Appointment times are arranged separately.
Questions About LVP, LVT & Laminate Cleaning & Protection
Why Does My LVP Floor Look Cloudy After Mopping?
Cloudiness can come from cleaner residue, polish buildup or wear. Share the products used and where the problem appears. The cause determines whether cleaning or a different treatment is appropriate.
Can Laminate Floors Be Coated?
Only where the flooring and existing finish are compatible with the proposed treatment. We do not assume every laminate floor should receive a coating.
Do You Clean Commercial Luxury Vinyl Floors?
Yes. We assess luxury vinyl in commercial interiors as well as homes. Tell us about traffic levels, operating hours and access requirements.
