Floor Wax & Polish Removal
Floor wax and polish removal addresses unwanted layers on qualifying hardwood, LVP and vinyl floors before deciding whether further restoration is needed.
Request An AssessmentWhat This Service Can Address
Cloudy floors, sticky residue, footprints and patchy shine can result from repeated wax or acrylic polish applications. Adding another shine product may cover the problem temporarily while leaving more buildup to remove.
Choosing The Right Treatment
The floor material and product history determine the removal method. We assess the coating before choosing preparation that suits the surface underneath. Removal is not a promise that every floor will need or accept a new coating; the exposed finish must be evaluated first.
Surface Care Options
Hardwood Wax Removal
Floor wax removal begins with identifying the coating on the wood. Tell us which products were applied and how the floor looked before buildup appeared.
Floor Polish Removal
Acrylic polish removal can address layers that create uneven shine on qualifying hardwood or vinyl. After preparation, we assess the original surface before discussing additional finish.

How We Plan Your Project
- Identify the floor and the wax, polish or cleaner history if known.
- Assess removal compatibility and the condition beneath the buildup.
- Remove qualifying residue and clean the surface.
- Review whether finish renewal or compatible protection is appropriate.

Questions About Floor Wax & Polish Removal
Can You Remove Wax From Hardwood Floors?
Yes, on qualifying hardwood surfaces after checking the existing finish and contamination. Tell us about wax, oil-based products or acrylic polishes previously applied.
Do You Remove Polish From LVP And Vinyl?
On suitable flooring, yes. The wear layer and coating history matter. A method used on hardwood should not automatically be used on a vinyl floor.
Will Wax Removal Repair Scratches?
Removing residue can reveal the actual finish, but it does not repair deep scratches, gouges or damaged planks. Those concerns are assessed separately.
